How do we Help?

  • Act as a reference point for issues relating to this sector as relating to their obligations under the NCCP Act 2010, and for general insurance regulatory obligations
  • Provide relevant access to training for Certificate 4 (and Diploma) levels as required by ASIC for finance via recognized RTOs
  • Provide access for meeting obligations under the NCCP Act 2010 for IDR, EDR and PI needs
  • Through the FBAA it will provide where possible discounted costs for EDR, PI, Training and value added benefits for membership etc
  • Provide access to seminars and events and relevant industry material to enable them to meet their ongoing CPD Hour requirements under the NCCP Act 2010
  • This committee through the FBAA National President will have a much stronger voice at Government and Regulatory levels so their needs are succinctly heard
  • Provide access to the FBAA “NCCP Compliance Toolkit” which contains all the relevant documents, educational checks, and references in an easy to follow package as required under the NCCP Act.
  • All FNI members enquires, seminars, events and administration will be fully supported and run by the FBAA staff.
  • All FNI Members will need to comply to the FBAA Cost of Practice and Constitution – as do all FBAA Members, and meet the FBAA Membership criteria as recognised and acknowledged by all relevant industry lenders today.
    • This creates a better and more compliant regime for Lenders whereby if the FNI Manager/Broker s a member of the FBAA they know KYC and AML obligations have been undertaken as well as reference checking etc (all members of the FBAA must also have – Professional Indemnity Insurance, Certificate 4 in Financial Services, Internal and external dispute resolution, police checks, credit checks, Bankruptsy/Insolvency checks, Lender references undertaken, see the FBAA’s website for further details
